I consider my style to be pretty basic. I love a simple t-shirt with jeans, booties, and a cardigan. I also love blouses that make a statement in a unique and stylistic way. Tops with ties and statement sleeves do just that. Recently, Tobi reached out to do a fun collaboration and it inspired me to challenge my style comfort zone a bit.

I selected the The Dana Tiered Skater Dress, because it has that flowy aspect I adore, but it was also a little bit on the edgy side, for me. When I received the dress, and tried it on, I instantly realized I have real human legs, and wore it as a top instead. Congrats to all of the Carrie Underwoods of the world, I'll be over here feeding pigs in my blouse + pants. Ha!

When stepping outside of your comfort zone with fashion, keep it simple, and start small. Wearing this piece as a blouse instead of a dress gave my basic style a little something extra. Blogging has really challenged me to find a balance between staying true to my simple style, and incorporating fun pieces that I wouldn't typically choose to wear on a daily basis.

This truly is a great transition piece that I love, and the bell sleeves put it right on trend for the season. I have also paired it with leggings for work, simple jewelry, and crossbody. I love how simple the silhouette is, so you can wear it with anything.
